·        KICKBALL IS PLAYED ONLY WITH THE RED THIRTEEN (13) INCH PLAYGROUND BALL.
·        YOU MUST BE TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE TO PLAY IN THE LEAGUE.
·       ALL PLAYERS MUST WEAR UNIFORMS WITH EITHER A NAME OR NUMBER ON THE BACK.
·        ALL MUST BE PROPERLY DRESSED IN THE SAME UNIFORMS DURING THE GAME. ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP THEIR UNIFORMS ON AT ALL TIMES DURING THE GAME, NO EXCEPTIONS!
·        TEAMS CONSIST OF THIRTY-TWO (32) OR FEWER PLAYERS, THAT INCLUDES A CAPTAIN AND A COACH.  A MAXIMUM OF TEN (10) PLAYERS, CONSISTING OF FIVE (5) FEMALES AND FIVE (5) MALES, ARE REQUIRED ON THE FIELD AT THE START OF THE GAME.  EQUAL GENDER AT ALL TIMES, UNLESS A PLAYER IS INJURED AND THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH TEAM MEMBERS TO SUBSTITUTE.
·        BOTH TEAMS MUST USE THE SAME BALL FROM START TO FINISH.WE WILL PROVIDE THE OFFICIAL GAME BALL.
·        EACH GAME WILL HAVE TWO (2) OFFICIALS AND A SCORE/TIMEKEEPER. THE HEAD OFFICIAL IS AT HOME PLATE AND THE SECOND OFFICIAL WILL BE COVERING IN-FIELD PLAY. DUE TO CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, THERE MAY BE ONE OFFICAL OVERSEEING THE GAME. IN WHICH CASE, THE GAME WILL PROCEED AS SCHEDULED.
·        THE DESIGNATED HEAD OFFICIAL HAS THE FINAL CALL.  HE OR SHE CAN OVERTURN ANY CALL WITH PROPER REASON.
·        TEAMS SHOULD REPORT TO THE SCOREKEEPER AT LEAST TWENTY (20) MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START OF THEIR GAME TO FILL-OUT THE ROSTER SHEET.
·       A COIN TOSS (HEADS OR TAILS) DECIDES WHO WILL KICK FIRST.
·        EACH GAME WILL GO FIFTY (50) MINUTES PLAYING TIME OR SIX (6) INNINGS; WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.  KEEP IN MIND THE INNINGS MUST BE PLAYED OUT.  ALL PLAYERS SHOULD BE ON THE FIELD AT THE STARTTIME OF THEIR GAME AND READY TO PLAY.
·        BLOW OUT: WHEN A TEAM IS LEADING BY TEN (10) RUNS BY THE BOTTOM OF THE FOURTH (4TH) INNING THE GAME CAN BE ENDED THE UMPIRES DESCRETION OR AT THE REQUEST OF THE TEAM WITH THE LESSER POINTS.
·        THE YELLOW FLAG: WHEN YOU SEE THE YELLOW FLAG THIS IS A SIGN OF APENALTY OR AN IN-FRACTION ON (OFFENSE OR DEFENSE) YELLOW FLAG DOES NOT STOP THE PLAY. ONCE THE PLAY IS DEAD, THE REF WILL EXPLAIN THE IN-FRACTION.
·        THERE ARE NO TEAM TIME OUTS. ONLY REFEREES CAN CALL TIME-OUT (REF CAN STOP THE CLOCK DUE TO AN EMERGENCY)   
·        THERE ARE NO GRACE PERIODS FAILURE TO SUBMIT TEAM LINE-UP OR KICKING ROTATION WILL RESULT IN A FORFEIT.  IF A KICKER KICKS OUT OF ORDER, IT IS AN AUTOMATIC OUT.  NO GHOST RUNNERS. . . NO EXCEPTIONS!!!  SCORE KEEPERS  MUST BE AWARE OF THE SUB/ROTATIONS OF TEAM PLAYERS AT ALL TIMES. 
·        EACH WIN IS ONE (1) POINT, IF THERE IS A TIE GAME EACH TEAM GETS A 1/2 POINT. IF YOU LOSE YOU GET ZERO POINTS.
·        FOUR (4) BALLS PITCHED (INTENTIONALLY AND/ORUNINTENTIONALLY) TO A MALE KICKER WILL RESULT IN ADVANCEMENT OF THE MALE KICKER TO SECOND (2ND) BASE AND THE FEMALE KICKER TO FOLLOW WILL ADVANCE TO FIRST (1ST) BASE.
·        SLIDING AND/OR DIVING TO GET ON BASE IS AN AUTOMATIC OUT!!        
o        THIS ACTION COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURIES
·        IF THE KICKER TOUCHES THE BALL WHILE UP TO KICK, IT IS AN AUTOMATIC OUT!!
·        FOUR (4) FOULS RESULT IN AN OUT.
·        THREE (3) STRIKES RESULT IN AN OUT.
·        HITTING A PLAYER ON THE HEAD WITH THE BALL IS NOT ALLOWED:
o        IF A PERSON IS HIT WITH THE BALL ON THE HEAD, IT IS A TWO (2) BASE ADVANCEMENT FROM THE LAST BASE TOUCHED;AND
o        IF A PERSON DUCKS AND GETS HIT ON THE HEAD BY THE BALL, THERE WILL BE NO ADVANCEMENT.
·        THE BALL MUST BE ROLLED THIRTEEN (13) INCHES OR LOWER FOR TO BE CONSIDERED A FAIR ROLL. THAT MEANS NO BOUNCING BALLS OVER THIRTEEN (13)  INCHES SHOULD BE KICKED.  ALSO, AS LONG AS THE BALL ROLLS OVER THE STRIKE ZONE, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED A FAIR ROLL AND CALLED ACCORDINGLY.
o        EXAMPLE:  FAST ROLLS, SLOW ROLLS, HOOKS, SPINS, etc, ARE ALL FAIR ROLLS.NO THROWING THE BALL FROM THE SIDE.
o        WHILE PITCHING THE BALL THE PALM MUST BE UP ONCE THE BALL IS RELEASE.
·        PITCHER MUST BE ON THE (RUBBER) MOUND WITH THE BALL TO STOP ALL GAME PLAYS
o        EXAMPLE:  IF A PLAY IS IN MOTION AND A RUNNER ADVANCES TO ANOTHER BASE AFTER A PLAY HAS BEEN MADE, THAT PLAYER CAN CONTINUE TO ADVANCE BASES UNTIL THE PITCHER RETURNS TO THE (RUBBER) MOUND, WITH THE BALL, TO STOP THE PLAY.
·        DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCLUDING EXCESSIVE PROFANITY, IS NOT ALLOWED.  UMPIRES HAVE THE RIGHT TO WARN AND/OR EJECT PLAYERS FROM THE GAME FOR VIOLATIONS AT THE UMPIRES DISCRETION. THREE (3) WARNINGS WILL RESULT IN EJECTION FROM THE GAME. IF YOU ARE EJECTED THIS WILL RESULT IN A MINIMUM OF ONE (1) GAME SUSPENSION. THREE (3) SUSPENSIONS, WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION FROM THE LEAGUE!!   
·        BALLS THAT ARE KICKED BEYOND THE FENCE ARE OUT OF PLAY AND ARE CONSIDERED DEAD BALLS AND WILL RESULT IN ONE (1) BASE ADVANCEMENT. ALL BALLS KICKED OR THROWN WITHIN FOUL TERRITORY (AREA BETWEEN THE FOUL LINE AND FENCE) ARE STILL IN PLAY. HOWEVER, RUNNERS CANNOT ADVANCE ON A FOUL BALL.
·        KICKING LEG MUST EXTEND IN A FORWARD MOTION TO BE CONSIDERED A KICK. (BUNT)
·        IF A PLAYER GETS HURT AND THE TEAM HAS NO REPLACEMENT, THE INJURED PLAYER’S SPOT WILL BE RULED AS AN OUT WHEN IT IS THEIR TURN TO KICK AGAIN.
·        PLAYER RUNNING OUTSIDE OF THE BASELINE IS AN AUTOMATIC OUT.
·        ALL PLAYERS MUST STAY IN THE DUGOUT UNLESS THEY ARE THE NEXT-UP TO KICK AND ARE POSITIONED IN THE KICKER’S BOX.
·        THERE WILL BE NO GAME CANCELLATIONS DUE TO LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL.
 
 
 

DEFENSE:

·        A PITCHER CAN VERBALLY WALK A MALE KICKER. FOUR (4) BALLS PITCHED (INTENTIONALLY AND/ORUNINTENTIONALLY) TO A MALE KICKER WILL RESULT IN ADVANCEMENT OF THE MALE KICKER TO SECOND (2ND) BASE AND THE FEMALE KICKER TO FOLLOW WILL ADVANCE TO FIRST (1ST) BASE.
·        ALL PITCHES MUST BE UNDERHAND. THE PITCHER MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE FOOT ON THE RUBBER PITCHER'S MOUND AT THE START OF THE PITCH AND MAY STEP FORWARD WITHIN THE PITCHER’S BOX WHILE RELEASING THE BALL WITHOUT CROSSING THE LINE.
·        BACK CATCHER MUST BE POSITIONED BEHIND THE KICKING BOX. BACK CATCHER MAY NOT RUN UP TOWARDS THE KICKER BEFORE THE BALL IS KICKED.    
·        EVERYONE ON DEFENSE SHOULD BE BEHIND THE WHITE MARKED-LINE BETWEEN FIRST(1ST) and THIRD (3rd) BASE WHEN THE BALL IS PITCHED.  FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A BALL AND, IF ELIGIBLE, THE BASE RUNNER ADVANCES ONE (1) BASE.
·        YOU ARE OUT IF YOU HAVE OVERRUN THE BASE AND ARE TAGGED WITH THE BALL. READ BELOW!!!!
o        FIRST (1ST) BASE IS THE ONLY BASE YOU CAN OVERRUN.  OVERRUNNING MUST CONTINUE STRAIGHT OR VEER TO THE RIGHT FOR YOU TO BE CONSIDERED SAFE. 
o        IF YOU OVERRUN FIRST (1ST) BASE AND CONTINUE RUNNING IN THE DIRECTION OF SECOND (2ND) BASE, YOU CAN BE TAGGED WITH THE BALL AND CALLED OUT.     
        
OFFENSE:
·        KICKERS ARE ALLOWED ONLY TEN (10) SECONDS TO GET READY BETWEEN EACH KICKER. ONCE THE REF INDICATES FOR THE PITCHER TO PLAY BALL, PLAYER MUST BE READY, IF NOT PITCHER WILL ROLL THE BALL.
·        IF THE PITCHER DOES NOT ROLL THE BALL WITHIN TEN(10) SECONDS, THE REFEREE WILL ADVANCE THE KICKER TO FIRST (1ST) BASE.
·        RUNNING OVER HOME PLATE TO KICK THE BALL WILL BE CONSIDERED AN OUT THE BALL MUST ROLL OVER THE STRIKE ZONE BEFORE IT IS KICKED.
·        KICKER MUST HAVE ONE FOOT IN THE KICKER BOX BEFORE KICKING THE BALL.
·        RUNNERS CANNOT LEAVE THE BASE UNTIL THE BALL IS KICKED.
